Natural spices always have been the go-to, on the spot healing therapy for many centuries.

Aside from being used in the cooking world, they have strong anti-inflammatory agents that frequently help the body deal with many health conditions. One of the most accepted and extremely healthy spices is, of course, turmeric.

Turmeric has been extensively used in the cosmetics industry, cooking recipes, and it is often used to heal wounds, cancer prevention and lessen pain and inflammation.

Still, due to the innumerable forms of turmeric, it is hard to find just the right one to use, and we’re now answering that very question.

Defining Turmeric

Turmeric contains many compounds all bringing a dissimilar kick to the body. Curcumin makes up most of the turmeric, and it is as well present in other healthy plants like ginger.

Some of the turmeric benefits include:

  • anti-inflammatory properties
  • Anticancer benefits
  • anti- allergies properties
  • stabilizes diabetes
  • reduces Arthritis pain
  • deals with depression
  • lowers the risk of heart attack

Turmeric for Inflammation

When your body is inflamed, the inflammation can be a result of many different factors. The healing course can be hard and irritating because there is two types of inflammation, chronic and acute inflammation.

Acute inflammation begins after an injury happens, and can radically escalate, while chronic inflammation is constant and can last for months.

Inflammation can disrupt the health in a lot of ways. Frequently, it can cause cancer, asthma, obesity, heart disease arthritis, and others, particularly if we’re talking about chronic inflammation.

One article written by Dr. Mercola clarifies through the words of a nutritionist called Donnie Yance that cancer and heart-related problems can be activated by chronic inflammation. Additionally, this allows the release of free radicals within the body.

The Difference Between Whole Turmeric and Supplements

One of the biggest variations between turmeric and turmeric supplements is that curcumin is usually found in larger doses in the supplement form. If you are taking a supplement, it will provide you with around 500mg of curcumin. One teaspoon of turmeric powder will provide the only 15mg.

There is, in addition, the powder version of turmeric, even though going raw and fresh is always the best option.

The flavor can be rather intense for certain people and that is why supplements are a better fit. In addition, supplements are wealthy in significant essential oils.

It is not recommended you take supplements if you:

  • are pregnant – the risk of miscarriage is higher
  • you are trying to conceive or you are struggling with conceiving
  • suffer from gallbladder or gallstones disease
  • have a scheduled surgery within the next few weeks
  • are one med that prevents clotting, like aspirin – from time to time it can result in more bleeding and bruising
  • have stomach issues – it is known to trigger gastric irritation, nausea and/or diarrhea
  • are on diabetes medication – can provoke hypoglycemia
  • are iron deficient

Proper use of turmeric and dosing

A study carried out by the University of Maryland’s Complementary and Alternative Medicine Guide, recommend these doses as the optimal to get positive effects:

  • Cut root: 1.5-3 grams/day
  • Dried, powdered root: 1-3 grams/day
  • fluid extract (1:1): 30-90 drops/day
  • Tincture (1:2): 15-30 drops 4 times a day
  • Standardized powder supplement: 400-600 mg 3 times a day

Turmeric must become a part of your everyday nutrition plan and the same goes for other spices.s

Prostate cancer breakthrough: Combination of three plant-based nutrients found to MELT AWAY prostate cancer cells

Prostate cancer breakthrough: Combination of three plant-based nutrients found to MELT AWAY prostate cancer cells
Share on FacebookPin on PinterestTweet about this on TwitterShare on Google+

An astonishing new study available in Precision Oncology established that a combination of three plant-based nutrients has the ability to “melts away” prostate cancer cells. The study, conducted by University of Texas researcher Stefano Tiziani, is entitled Combinatorial treatment with natural compounds in prostate cancer inhibits prostate tumor growth and leads to key modulations of cancer cell metabolism.

As explained in the University of Texas newsletter, this breakthrough innovation allows people to “starve prostate cancer with what you consume for dinner.”

What are the powerful three natural nutrients? They are:

  • Ursolic acid from apple peels
  • Resveratrol from red grapes
  • Curcumin from turmeric

“New study from The University of Texas at Austin identifies more than a few natural elements discovered in food, as well as apple peels, turmeric, and red grapes, as main ingredients that possibly will prevent the growth of prostate cancer, the most widespread cancer affecting U.S. men and a key area of focus during Men’s Health Month, which public health supporters celebrate in June,” reports the University of Texas at Austin. “Available online this week in Precision Oncology, the new paper uses a novel analytical approach to monitoring numerous plant-based chemicals as an alternative of testing a single agent as numerous studies do, finding out specific combinations that reduce in size prostate cancer tumors.”

In addition explained in the UT article:

The new research paper furthermore reveals how the plant-based chemicals work mutually. Uniting ursolic acid with either curcumin or resveratrol prevents cancer cells from gobbling something that they require to grow, glutamine. This is an efficient solution: jamming the uptake of a nutrient required by prostate cancer cells with nutrients that are generally in the human diet.

Watch my video to discover more about this breakthrough and why the cancer industry does not want you to gain knowledge of this discovery.

The turmeric you’re consuming is useless unless you take it in one of these 3 ways

The turmeric you’re consuming is useless unless you take it in one of these 3 ways
Share on FacebookPin on PinterestTweet about this on TwitterShare on Google+

Numerous studies have backed up the health benefits of turmeric! Once you see the indisputable proof that turmeric indeed offers an extensive array of important health benefits, you will start including it in your daily diet right away! But, before you begin consuming turmeric as potent food medicine, you should find out how to unleash its powerful healing potential first.

Turmeric is linked to ginger root, both of which are classified as members of the Zingiberacaea family. It has been generally used as both spice and powerful medicine.

Curcumin and Curcuminoids

Diferuloylmethane, also known as curcumin is one of the three curcuminoids in turmeric, the other being desmethoxycurcumin and bis-desmethoxycurcumin. Additionally, to these ingredients, scientists keep identifying new compounds which are placed in the essential oil of this spice.

The main problem with turmeric is curcumin`s deprived bioavailability. Numerous animal and clinical studies have established that the concentrations of curcumin in the blood plasma, peripheral tissues, and the urine, are quite low in spite of the dosage.

What is Bioavailability?

According to the Merck manual, “Bioavailability refers to the extent of and rate at which the active moiety (drug or metabolite) enters systemic circulation, thereby accessing the site of action.”

Bioavailability explains how much of the ingested substance is engrossed by the body.  Needless to say, those with low bioavailability will not be capable enough for healing purposes.

3 Ways To Boost The Benefits Of Turmeric!

1.     Add Black Pepper to Your Turmeric

It has been scientifically exposed that black pepper works as influential turmeric adjuvant.

Some of the main health benefits of black pepper are as follows:

  • Helps heal vertigo
  • Helps decrease cognitive malfunction and memory impairment
  • Lowers the risk of liver and cardiovascular ailments and cancer
  • Ease asthma, nasal congestion, and sinusitis
  • Ease dementia and Alzheimer`s

How does Black Pepper Enhance the Bioavailability of Turmeric?

According to Michael Greger, a well-known physician and professional speaker on significant public health issues, “Piperine is a powerful inhibitor of drug metabolism. One of the ways our liver eliminates foreign substances are making them water-soluble so they can be more effortlessly excreted. But this black pepper molecule inhibits that process.”

2.    Add a Healthy Fat to Turmeric

Being fat-soluble, turmeric has to be mixed with a fat in order for the body to completely absorb it and harvest its benefits.

As explained by Dr. Joseph Mercola,“When it doesn’t break up properly, curcumin has a rough time getting into the gut, which is where most of the immune system lives. “80 % of your immune system is situated in your digestive system, making a healthy gut a main focal point if you want to uphold optimal health.”

‘Another way to increase the absorption of curcumin is to eat it in the whole food, turmeric root (fresh or dried as a powder) since natural oils established in turmeric root and turmeric powder can improve the bioavailability of curcumin seven to eight fold. When eaten with fat, curcumin can be directly engrossed into the bloodstream throughout the lymphatic system thereby infraction bypassing the liver,’ says Dr. Michael Greiger.

3.   Heat Increases Turmeric’s Bioavailability

As clarified by Dr. Sukumar, “The powerful ingredient in turmeric is curcumin, which, in spite of its power, is not effortlessly absorbed by the body without support. This is where the sauté pan and a little warm oil come into play.”

The problem about the pill is that it is tremendously insoluble in water.  The more efficient way to use it is to add it to your cooking more often.  When you have any sauté, just sprinkle it in to make it bio-available to you.
