Life is filled with situations which you can’t control easily. In these moments, you feel like there is no hope and you see no way out. But, this clever grandma teaches her desperate granddaughter a life lesson by using 3 kitchen ingredients.

How is this possible? What did she want to say? This unbelievable story by now sounds strange but waits until you find out the end of it. A young woman went to visit her grandmother. She was pretty stressed out and disappointed with her life. Troubles came one after another and she did not know how to carry on with her life.

Afterward, the grandmother went into the kitchen. She filled 3 pots with water and waited until they started boiling. After that, she added a few carrots in the first post, a few eggs in the second, and coffee beans in the third one. After half an hour, she turned off the stove.  Then she transferred the content into separate bowls and said:”Carrots, eggs, and coffee.”

The old lady requested her granddaughter to feel the cooked carrots, peel the hard boiled eggs, and take a sip of the coffee. Her granddaughter was confused and asked why she had to do that.

Then, the grandmother gave an exceptional explanation. All the ingredients were boiled in water, but each of them reacted in a different way. The carrots are hard, but when boiled, they become soft. The egg is delicate and the thin shell protects the liquid inside. When cooked, its shell and liquid become solid. And what happens to the coffee beans? They alter the water.

”And which of these ingredients are you? Are you the egg, the carrot or the coffee?” The grandmother asked her granddaughter.

”Think about it: Are you the carrot – it looks strong, but when things get terrible and you have to face certain obstructions, you give up and you aren’t that strong anymore?”

”Or are you a soft shelled egg, but when you are in a bad situation in your life, you turn out to be hard and ”unreachable”?”

”Or, do you decide for the coffee bean? When the water starts to boil, the coffee bean releases its beautiful aroma. Do you choose to alter the situation and try to make things well again?

These words of wisdom make everyone think profoundly about life and alter your perspective when it comes to facing troubles and huge challenges. Bear in mind, you take accountability with every decision you make. No matter how hard it is, develop positive thinking and change your life for better.
